Transfer Activities

We make our laboratories, data, and visualisation tools available to external users. We also run courses, summer schools, and one-to-one, hands-on training sessions. We host a scientific conference, as well as regular workshops and seminars, to spark new projects and partnerships.

Our researchers are trained in the transition from research to application and commercialisation, as well as in patent law. We also provide intellectual property protection and flexible conditions for ambitious entrepreneurs. At the same time, we practise Open Science, making publications and underlying datasets openly available with FAIR metadata. Where physical outputs are shared, material or technology-transfer agreements ensure responsible use.

We measure our impact by how our research moves the world forward, for example through new products and services resulting from collaborations, better-informed policy on resource efficiency, broader use of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv infrastructure by external experts and faster knowledge flow spanning the quadruple helix of science, industry, government, and civil society.
