BASE – the Business Academy for Starting Entrepreneurs – is back in Plovdiv, this time in partnership with the Centre for Cleantech and Biomass Resource Efficiency (CCBRE).
This year, we are joining forces with our partners at BASE with one clear goal – to create an environment where people with ideas, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to grow can gain practical knowledge, professional support, and a real opportunity to take their first steps toward building their own business.
BASE is designed both for people who have an idea but are not yet sure how to turn it into a sustainable business model, and for small business owners who want to develop their activities in a more structured and confident way.
The programme includes 13 after-work lectures, led by experienced professionals with strong practical expertise. Participants will explore key topics related to starting and developing a business, building a sustainable business model, planning, and turning an idea into concrete action.
Through this year’s partnership, we are bringing together BASE’s entrepreneurial experience with our mission to promote innovation, applied knowledge, and stronger links between science, business, and the real economy.
As part of this collaboration, CCBRE is also providing this year’s €6,000 prize fund. We believe this will give participants with the most promising ideas an additional opportunity to continue developing them even after the programme has ended.
For CCBRE, supporting BASE is part of our broader vision to help build a dynamic entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem in Plovdiv. We believe that good ideas need more than funding — they also need knowledge, mentoring, connections, and the right environment in which to grow.
